As a former Orthodontist assistant, for both private practice and military clinics. I had previous experience with Dr. Melendez in our many moves with the military. He has always been an excellent orthodontist and after returning to San Antonio we sought him out. As usual he was very professional, friendly and honest. Within 30 minutes, he was able to sit down with pictures and x-rays. Then took time to explain his recommendations for my almost 11 year old daughter. To our surprise she is not ready and we will be back next year to evaluate her again. Other big chain orthodontist will put braces on just because you show up and think you need them which will cost you a lot of extra time and money in braces. If you want an honest orthodontist who will not waste your money and or time. I highly recommend Dr. Melendez, you will not be disappointed.
